ANA HOLDINGS INC. (referred to as “ANA HD”) has earned a spot on the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (“DJSI World”) for the eighth consecutive year and the Dow Jones Sustainability Asia Pacific Index for the ninth consecutive year.
This recognition highlights ANA HD’s exceptional efforts in corporate sustainability, particularly in areas such as managing material issues essential to creating corporate value, advancing human resource strategies, and ensuring transportation safety. The company also received commendation for its climate initiatives, water resource management, and supply chain practices.
The DJSI is a renowned global benchmark for socially responsible investing (SRI), jointly developed by S&P Dow Jones Indices in the United States and RobecoSAM, a Swiss SRI investment specialist. The index evaluates the performance of leading companies based on economic, environmental, and social criteria. In 2024, 321 companies were selected for the DJSI World from nearly 2,500 assessed globally. ANA HD also stood out as one of only 161 companies chosen for the DJSI Asia Pacific from approximately 600 evaluated in the region.
Beyond the DJSI World and Asia Pacific Index, ANA HD is also included in several other prestigious socially responsible investment indexes. Among the prominent socially responsible investment indexes recognizing ANA HD are the FTSE4Good Index, the FTSE Blossom Japan Index, the FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index, the MSCI ESG Leaders Indexes, the MSCI Japan ESG Select Leaders Index, and the MSCI Japan Equity Women’s Empowerment Index (WIN). These accolades further underscore ANA HD’s commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices.
