This holiday season, Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the UAE, is spreading festive cheer with holiday-themed decorations, seasonal cuisine, and exclusive complimentary amenities. Anticipating December 22 as the busiest travel day, the airline has crafted a welcoming festive ambiance paired with exceptional hospitality and enhanced services to ensure a seamless travel experience for its guests.
To mark the occasion, Etihad has collaborated with Giorgio Armani and renowned skincare brand ESPA to create a collection of limited-edition amenity kits. Guests traveling in First Class and The Residence can enjoy these luxurious folios, while Business Class passengers on longer flights receive clutch bags or cube bags in elegant hues of forest green, crimson, and pearlescent tones.
Economy Class travelers won’t miss out, with a special tote bag featuring whimsical designs—a cheerful snowman and a snowflake motif inspired by Etihad’s signature tailfin. These exclusive items will be available on all long-haul flights until January 10.
From December 23 to 25, Etihad will serve a traditional festive menu across all cabin classes on 30 routes worldwide. The menu includes turkey roulade with chestnut and thyme stuffing, herb and garlic sweet potato, Brussels sprouts, pumpkin, and chicken jus, complemented by decadent desserts like chocolate Bûche de Noël, gingerbread white chocolate mousse, or Christmas bread and butter pudding.
Premium cabin passengers can elevate their in-flight experience with a selection of seasonal beverages, including signature mocktails and cocktails such as the Rum, Rum Rudolph, Hot Toddy, Winter Spritz, and both iced and hot Gingerbread Lattes.
In Etihad’s Abu Dhabi and London lounges, holiday decorations, including Christmas trees and gingerbread houses, create a festive ambiance. From December 21 to 30, guests can enjoy a special Christmas menu paired with seasonal drinks like mulled wine, eggnog coffee, and Gingerbread espresso martinis.
To keep travelers entertained, Etihad’s E-BOX inflight entertainment system features a dedicated Holiday Season channel throughout December. Passengers can enjoy a curated selection of festive films, including 8-Bit Christmas, Last Christmas, New Year’s Eve, Four Christmases, and Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch, along with an extensive library of movies, TV shows, and music.

The airport offers family-friendly check-in zones, biometric self-bag drop stations, and exclusive check-in areas for Business and First Class passengers, ensuring convenience and comfort for all.
To make holiday travel even more convenient, Etihad is offering an extra 1,000 Etihad Guest Miles to passengers using its offsite check-in and baggage drop facilities until December 27. These facilities are strategically located at:
- Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal (Operates 24/7)
- The Fountains, Yas Mall (Open 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM)
