
Marriott International, has announced a partnership with Al Qimmah Hospitality Company and Amwaj Real Estate Company, subsidiaries of BinDawood Trading, to establish a Courtyard by Marriott Hotel in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. Set to open in 2026, the Courtyard by Marriott Makkah Al Naseem will host 2,179 rooms, making it the largest hotel under the brand worldwide. The new hotel aims to deliver outstanding service, modern amenities, and ultimate convenience.
Dr. Abdul Razzaq BinDawood, Chairman of Al Qimmah commented, “The signing of the agreement reflects the the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 framework which aims to position the country as a global hub for religious and cultural tourism and continues to promote cultured real estate development. We are constructing high-quality towers within the Al Naseem District, as part of our ongoing commitment to serve guests and travelers to the Holy Mosque. This will be one of our largest developments to date and continuation of our strategic collaboration with Marriott International.”

With the broadest presence across Marriott’s more than 30 brands, Courtyard by Marriott is known for its refined and thoughtful design and amenities, enhancing the stay of its guests. The planned Courtyard by Marriott Makkah Al Naseem will feature 2,179 elegantly appointed rooms within seven interconnected towers. Facilities will include a large restaurant capable of serving over 1,800 guests, a welcoming lobby lounge, and The Market, a signature grab-and-go option. The design will reflect the brand’s enduring, classic aesthetic with welcoming environments and attentive service.
This initiative aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which seeks to transform the country into a leading destination for religious and cultural tourism, aiming to attract 30 million religious tourists by 2030.
